The Soligor SR-300 MD is a SLR camera for 35mm film. The model was developed in Japan by Minolta and later licensed to a company in China. Shanghai Camera Factory offered it as the "Seagull DF-300", but also produced it under contract for various house brands. One of these distributors was Soligor, which also sold lenses for various mounts, among other things.
The Soligor SR-300 MD offers the possibility of interchangeable lenses. It comes with a Minolta SR bayonet and has no autofocus system. The lens is focused manually.
The 35mm camera has an exposure meter. It is designed for films from ISO 12 to ISO 3200. The exposure is measured through the lens. The 35mm camera has an aperture priority mode and a manual mode. The photo camera comes with a bulb mode for long exposures. An external flash can be connected to the hot shoe.

The Soligor SR-300 MD is a 35mm camera and therefore 35mm films are needed. These films are still produced some manufacturers and can be specified at almost any supplier of development work. Two great films for the 35mm camera are the Agfaphoto Vista 200* and the Ilford FP4 Plus*. These films are a great foundation for wonderful photo shoots.
