The Porst V2000 has a built-in light meter. It is designed for shooting film with a sensitivity of ISO 100 to ISO 400. The film speed is determined by the DX code on the film cartridge. Exposure settings are automatically adjusted by the technology within. There is a built-in flash for low-light photography.
The camera weighs 270 grams and measures 13 x 6.8 x 5.6 cm. The required power for the camera comes from a CR 123A battery (eBay / Amazon*). This also powers the display on the top.
Films for the Porst V2000
The Porst V2000 exposes 35mm film. The 35mm format is very common, so there are still some manufacturers and many developing labs today. A nice film for color images is the Kodak Ultramax 400* and for black and white images the Ilford Delta 400*.
The photo camera is now only available used. The cost of purchasing a model today is in the low single-digit euro range.
