The Polaroid Supercolor 635 CL is an instant camera. Its feature set is identical to the Polaroid One Step Flash Closeup.
The body of the camera is mainly black and gets some color from the Polaroid rainbow. The housing is made of plastic.
The instant camera has a built-in flash and a close-up lens. The lens, in front of which the close-up lens can be pushed with a lever, is fixed. There is no autofocus or zoom on this instant camera.
The close-up lens of the Polaroid Supercolor 635 CL shortens the closest focusing distance to 0.6 meters, otherwise it is 1.2 meters.
The operation of the camera is very simple and you need the manual if only for the beginning. You don't have to do more than press the shutter button and change the film every now and then.
Polaroid no longer makes film for the Polaroid Supercolor 635 CL. In the meantime, The Impossible Project has taken Polaroid's place and is producing instant films for this format again. Currently, the Polaroid Color Film for 600* and the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* are the current films for color and black and white photography.
The battery to power the Polaroid Supercolor 635 CL is in the cassette with the film.
