The Polaroid Spirit 600 Pepsi is a normal instant camera. The edition was designed by the American photo pioneer in collaboration with Pepsi.

The edition is based on the Polaroid One Step Flash and is identical in terms of functions. At the time, it was very popular for various companies to order cameras with their own branding from Polaroid. The cameras were then used for internal purposes or often as promotional gifts. One of these editions is this version from Pepsi.

The camera is equipped with a fixed lens. It has no zoom function, and the focal length cannot be adjusted. There is also no way to adjust the focus. The internal light meter takes care of the exposure settings. The brightness slider on the front can be used to change the exposure a bit.

Of course, these limitations in configuration options add to the ease of use. This means that you can take photos with the camera yourself after a short introductory period. Therefore, it is ideal for taking pictures at weddings, birthday parties or parties. It also cuts a fine figure on summer vacations.

The integrated flash provides plenty of light when taking photos with the instant camera. It fires automatically. However, it can also be switched off by simply pressing the back of the shutter release button. Indoors, you should be a little careful when not using the flash, as it needs a lot of light to take good pictures.

The camera and flash are powered by a battery inside the film cassette. So the battery is replaced every time you change the film. So you don't need an extra battery to take pictures.

Films for the Polaroid Spirit 600 Pepsi

The appropriate films for the Polaroid Spirit 600 Pepsi are offered again and freshly produced. So there is even a small selection. There are films for black and white and for color pictures, which can be easily obtained online. The film for color pictures is the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. For black and white pictures with the instant camera you need the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*.

There are eight pictures in one pack of the film. After the photos are used up, a new film must be purchased and inserted. No film material is included in the camera package.

The development time after taking photos is between five and fifteen minutes, depending on the instant film. Shaking the images will not speed up or shorten the development time. It is best to leave the image and wait only a short time.

The Polaroid Spirit 600 Pepsi is quite hard to find these days. Accordingly, the price for a copy of the instant camera is high.
