Films for the instant camera
The Polaroid I-2 is compatible with a variety of instant film including i-Type, 600 and SX-70. Designed specifically for the newer Polaroid cameras, the i-Type films are available in several variants including color, black and white and special editions. These films offer fast development time and vibrant colors.
The currently recommended color film for the Polaroid I-2 is Polaroid Color Film for i-Type*. For lovers of the classic black and white look, there is the Polaroid B&W Film for i-Type*.
Although the Polaroid I-2 is also compatible with the older 600 films, their use is not recommended. 600 films are often more expensive than the i-Type films and contain an integrated battery, which is not required for the I-2 as it has its own battery.
The SX-70 films are the oldest films compatible with the Polaroid I-2. They offer a unique vintage look and are popular with analogue photography enthusiasts.
