The Polaroid 600 Miffy is an instant camera. It was introduced by the company Retrospekt in January 2024. It is a collaboration between Miffy and the American company.

The technical basis of this camera is the original Polaroid One Step Flash. This model underwent a thorough overhaul and a full functional review before receiving a new exterior.

External Design of the Camera

This camera is a Polaroid 600 instant camera with a striking and playful design. It combines bright colors: the main body is a bold blue, while the front and a stripe on the top are a vibrant orange. Rich green accents can be found around the viewfinder, on the sides, and on the top.

A distinctive feature is the image of the well-known cartoon character Miffy, emblazoned on a yellow rectangle on the front of the camera. Another yellow rectangle with the word "Miffy" is located at the bottom of the front panel, where the instant photos are ejected.

At the top of the camera, a yellow box with the "Polaroid" logo in green lettering is visible, right next to the flash. The lens is black and silver and surrounded by an orange and green frame. The viewfinder is red and framed by a green frame.

Camera Technical Features

The camera has a fixed-focus lens with no zoom or adjustable focus. Exposure settings are made automatically via the built-in light meter, although the light/dark slider on the front panel allows for minor adjustments.

The limited setting options ensure user-friendly operation and allow you to take pictures with the camera independently after a short period of familiarization.

The built-in flash ensures sufficient lighting of the subject and fires automatically. The camera and flash are powered by a battery located in the film cassette, which is replaced with each film change. Additional batteries are not required for photo operation.

Films for the Polaroid 600 Miffy Model

No film is included in the standard delivery of the instant camera; this must be purchased separately.

Compatible films for the Polaroid 600 Miffy are still available commercially, including both black and white and color films. The color film is called Polaroid Color Film for 600*. For monochrome images with the instant camera, the film Polaroid B&W Film for 600* is required.

A single film cassette contains eight exposures. After these exposures, users must insert a new cassette. Film is not included. The development time for the images varies between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the film used.
