The One Shot 35 Half is a half format camera. It has only been available for some time. A copy is sold for around 35 euros.
Camera functions
The One Shot 35 half-format camera is an analog camera that is characterized by its easy operation and special recording format. It uses conventional 35mm film, but only exposes half of a standard image per shot. This means that twice as many photos can be taken with one roll of film, which makes it particularly attractive for beginners and photographers who like to experiment.
The camera has a fixed 50mm lens with an aperture of F5.6 and a shutter speed of 1/120 second. These settings cannot be changed, which makes operation very easy. Focusing is done manually over a distance scale that ranges from one meter to infinity.
The One Shot 35 is equipped with a built-in flash that can be switched on if necessary. Power is provided by a single AAA battery (eBay / Amazon*). This battery is only used for the flash light.
The housing is made of plastic and is available in different colors. The camera weighs 170 grams and measures 11.9 x 6.7 x 4.4 cm. There is no tripod thread. However, a carrying strap can be connected.
Films for the One Shot 35 Half
The One Shot 35 Half is designed for 35mm 35mm films, of which there is still a large selection. Popular films include the Kodak Gold 200* for vibrant colors and the Ilford XP2 Super* for creative black and white shots. The development of C-41 films, which also includes the Ilford XP2 Super, is offered in many photo laboratories and drugstores.
