The Nikon Zoom 60 is a camera from Nikon. It is a snapshot camera from the 90s. It is the predecessor of the Nikon Zoom 60S. The model was also marketed as Nikon Nice-Touch Zoom.
The 35mm photo camera comes with a zoom lens and cannot be changed. The focal length range of the lens is 35mm to 60mm. The maximum aperture is f/5.7 or f/9.3. The closest focusing distance of the lens is 55 cm in macro mode. Otherwise it needs to be at least 190 cm.
The Nikon Zoom 60 has a built-in light meter. It is designed for films with ISO 100 and ISO 400. The film speed is read out via the DX code. The exposure settings are determined automatically by the camera.
The built-in flash provides enough light. The range of the flash is 10 meters. There is a mode for avoiding red eyes on the pictures.
With a size of 12.7 x 7.1 x 5.7 cm the Nikon Zoom 60 weighs 260 grams according to the operating instructions. The camera is powered by two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). These should be sufficient for about 13 rolls of film. The film transport is automatic. The photographer does not have to rewind it.

You will need for the Nikon Zoom 60 photo films. You need films for the 35mm format. 35mm films are still produced today. The exposure size of a negative of this camera is 24 mm x 36 mm.
A good choice for color photography is the Kodak Ultramax 400*. If you want to stay monochrome, the Ilford XP2 Super* is not bad. The color film is processed in the C-41 process. This development process is carried out by all photo laboratories offering the development of 35mm films.
