The Lomo'Instant Square Pemberley Edition is an instant camera from Lomography. It was presented by Lomography in January 2025. The edition has the same functions as the Lomo'Instant Square. "The Blues Edition" was presented at the same time.
Features of the instant camera
This camera has a built-in lens with a fixed focal length of 95 mm and a maximum aperture of f/10. To make it more portable, the camera is foldable.
There is no autofocus, instead the Lomo'Instant Square Pemberley Edition offers a manual focus with three levels, adjustable via a lever. Objects can be focused from a distance of 80 cm.
An integrated light meter that automatically controls the exposure ensures the correct exposure. While the shutter speed is fixed, the bulb mode allows a variable exposure time. Fine adjustments to the exposure can be made using a button on the back.
A built-in flash with a range of up to 9 meters at ISO 100 ensures sufficient lighting. The flash can be switched off. The Lomography instant camera also has a self-timer, radio trigger and a tripod thread.
Power is provided by two CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*). The remote control requires a CR2025 battery (eBay / Amazon*).
Film compatibility
According to the operating instructions, the Lomo'Instant Square Pemberley Edition uses Instax Square films. These have been available from Fujifilm since 2017 and are widely used.
The image size of the Instax Square Film* is 8.6 x 7.2 cm, the square image motif measures 6.2 x 6.2 cm. Each film cassette contains ten images.
The white frames of the instant photos can be written on and decorated with pens, making them perfect for occasions such as weddings, parties and birthdays.
The integrated motor ejects the image after it has been taken. Development begins immediately and the result is quickly visible. Shaking the image is unnecessary and not recommended.
