The Lomography Simple-Use Film Camera Saturday Edition is a disposable camera. The edition was introduced by Lomography on November 10, 2021. The exterior of the camera body is covered with an iridescent film.

Inside the camera is a roll of LomoChrome Purple. This color film is known for its color shifts into the purple color spectrum. One roll holds about 36 images. The film is developed normally in the C-41 process. Development is available at most professional photo labs. When developing, you should specify that the lab will not perform color correction for the prints, otherwise the color effect of the film may be affected.

The body of the camera is made of plastic. The camera is equipped with a 31 mm lens. This can be used flexibly for most situations and is very suitable for shooting at parties or weddings. Focusing is not necessary. The focus is set at 1 meter to infinity. The shutter speed and aperture are also fixed.

Due to the relatively small aperture of f/9, you should be careful in low light situations. Therefore, you should rather use the built-in flash more often. If you want a bit more color in the pictures, you can use the color filters. The charging time of the flash is around 15 seconds.

The flash is powered by an AA battery. No batteries are needed for the camera alone. The size of the camera body of the Lomography Simple-Use Film Camera Saturday Edition is 11.5 x 6 x 3.3 cm.

When the film is full, the film can be taken to the lab for development. Here you can either hand in the whole camera or just remove the film. Afterwards you can put a new film into the camera and continue to use the Lomography camera. Since there are no adjustment possibilities with the camera, one should use a film with a high exposure latitude. One possibility is the Kodak Ultramax 400*.
