The Hanimex Eaglet is a medium format camera. It belongs to the group of boxing cameras. The model was built in Turin, Italy. It was imported by the Australian company Hanimex probably in the 50s.
The camera comes with a fixed lens. The focus of the lens is fixed. The medium format camera does not have a light meter. Apart from that, the Eaglet is very simply constructed. The camera doesn't need electricity to take pictures.
On the top side there is a loop for transport. On the lower side is a thread for a tripod. The viewfinder is easy to see through and is not connected to the lens.

A color film for the medium format camera would be Kodak Portra 400*. A possible film for black and white images is the Ilford XP2 Super*. Both films have a wide exposure latitude. This makes them ideal for a camera without many adjustment possibilities.
The Hanimex Eaglet exposes the negatives in 6x6 format. A normal film roll can hold around twelve frames.
