The Fujifilm Instax Mini 7+ is a camera from Fujifilm and part of the Instax family. The Instax Mini 7 Plus is a model about which there is very little information. It was probably introduced in 2020. There is little information on the Fujifilm website about this model. As of today, it will still be sold in the USA in 2024. The price is around $67 for a copy with film.
In terms of functionality, it is very similar to the Instax Mini 7S. The 7+ also comes with a round plastic housing and was produced in China. It was offered in the colors: blue, coral, lavender, mint, gray and pink.
Film format and development
The heart of the Instax Mini 7+ is the Fujifilm Instant Color Film "INSTAX Mini", which is available separately. This film delivers images in a 62mm x 46mm format and is specifically designed to meet the requirements of instant photography. Once triggered, the image takes approximately 90 seconds to fully develop. This development time may vary slightly depending on the ambient temperature.

Viewfinder and lens
The camera has a real image optical viewfinder with 0.37x magnification and an aiming point to help you compose your shot. The lens is retractable and consists of two components and two elements with a focal length of 60mm and an aperture of f/12.7. The focus range extends from 0.6m to infinity, allowing great flexibility when taking photos.
Exposure and flash
The Instax Mini 7+ offers a fixed shutter speed of 1/60 second. Exposure control is manual via a switching system with an LED display in the light meter to make it easier for you to choose the right setting for different lighting conditions.
A built-in flash with automatic light adjustment ensures optimal illumination of your subjects indoors or in poor lighting conditions. The flash charging time is between 0.2 and 6 seconds, depending on the condition of the batteries. The effective flash range is between 0.6 and 2.7 meters. The flash can't be switched off.
Power supply
The camera is powered by four AA alkaline batteries (eBay / Amazon*). With a new set of batteries you can take around 100 photos, which is equivalent to around ten Instax Mini film packs.
Size, weight and scope of delivery
For an instant camera, the Instax Mini 7+ is extremely compact and lightweight, measuring 101.6mm x 127mm x 50.82mm and weighing just 255 grams (excluding batteries, strap and film pack). The scope of delivery includes four AA batteries, a practical wrist strap, a sticker sheet for customization, an integrated lens cover and a detailed instruction manual.
