The camera comes with a fixed lens with fixed focal length. The focal length is 45mm and the largest aperture of the lens is f/2.8. The designation "Meritar 45mm f/2.8" decorates the lens. The focus of the lens must be adjusted manually. There is no autofocus system. The closest focusing distance of this lens is 60 cm.
The Beroquick KB 135 has no light meter for the correct exposure. You either have to use an external one or estimate the correct exposure. The exposure time and aperture can be set manually. There is no automatic exposure control.
The camera has a bulb setting. The use of an external flash is possible via Hot Shoe. There is a thread for a tripod for long time exposures. The 35 mm camera does not need batteries.

135 35mm films are exposed in the Beroquick KB. The 35 mm format is the most common film format. Therefore some manufacturers still produce for this format. Possible films for the Beroquick KB 135 are the Kodak Gold 200* and the Ilford Delta 100*.
The color film is processed in the C-41 development process. C-41 films are developed by almost all photo laboratories. For example, you can deliver your films to many drugstores in Germany for developing.
The exposure area of the Beroquick KB 135 is 24 mm x 36 mm. The film in the camera has to be rewound manually, because there is no automatic film transport.
