Camera specifications
The 35mm lens is permanently installed, with an assumed focal length of around 33mm. The largest possible aperture is f/5.6. An autofocus system is not integrated; instead, it relies on a focus-free system where the distance setting is already set. A sliding cover protects the lens from potential damage and dirt.
Individual exposure settings are not possible with this model. All functions are automatic.
Of course, the camera also has an integrated flash. The flash cannot be turned off. However, a special mode for reducing the "red-eye effect" is missing, as is a tripod connection and a self-timer function. An additional feature is the ability to attach a wrist strap.
The camera is powered by two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*), although the use of rechargeable versions is recommended.

According to the user manual, the Ansco Vision is compatible with 35mm film, which can still be obtained and processed from a wide range of manufacturers.
Recommended films for this compact camera are, for example, the Kodak Gold 200* for color shots and the Ilford Delta 400* for monochrome shots. Additional compatible options can be sourced from brands such as Lomography, Fujifilm, Rollei, Adox and Foma.
The film is automatically advanced by a motor. The number of photos already taken is displayed on the top of the housing. A window on the back shows the loaded film.
