The AgfaPhoto APX 100 is a black and white film. Unlike the other AgfaPhoto films, this film still contains original Agfa material. The cartridge, which is only available as 35mm film, contains remnants of the Agfa APX 100, which is why it has the same properties as the original with the red rhombus.
With its sensitivity of ISO 100, it is a medium-sensitivity film. The panchromatic APX 100 is quite docile and can be used by beginners.
Whether for portraits, landscape photography or for vacation pictures, it can be used universally. It features good sharpness and a classic B&W look. Nevertheless, it should not necessarily be used in low light and with a low-light camera.
It is developed in black and white chemistry, so not in the C-41 process. A developer that it gets along well with and is easy to use is Rodinal. Of course, Kodak or Ilford developers are also suitable.
You can buy it, among other places, as of December 2012, online or also at DM, a German drugstore chain. It is only available as 35mm film with 36 frames. The black and white film from AgfaPhoto was not available for medium format cameras, unlike the original Agfa APX. The film is also not available in other formats.
Update | 08/10/2013
In the meantime, there is a new version of the film. The film is not identical to the old film from the parameters.

Sample photos
All sample photos were taken with the Praktica MTL5. Developed the film for 10 minutes at a mix ratio of 1+50 and 20 degrees in Rodinal. Digitized the images using a flatbed scanner, more specifically Canon’s Canoscan (eBay / Amazon*) was used.
