The Agfa Agfacolor XRS 200 is a colour negative film. Its field of application was professional photography. It is a proud member of the Agfacolor XRS film family.
The Agfacolor XRS 200 is a photographic film for colour pictures. The nominal sensitivity of the film is specified as ISO 200. A 100, 400 and 1000 film were also part of the XRS family.
Development of the film
After exposure, the film must not come into contact with light. It is developed in the C-41 process. The development is possible at most photo laboratories in Germany.
Availability and Alternatives
The film was available in a version for 35mm and medium format cameras. The 35mm film was available with 24 or 36 frames. The metal cartridge has a DX code for automatic recognition of the film speed.
Freshly produced material is no longer available from the Agfa Agfacolor XRS 200. A replacement for the 35mm format is the Kodak Gold 200*. An alternative in medium format could be the Kodak Portra 160*.
