Films for the Lomo’Instant Automat South Beach
To take pictures, the LomoInstant Automat South Beach requires Instax Mini films. Fujifilm manufactures the instant films for this format. These films are very easy to get online.
It is the smallest instant format and half the size of the Instax Wide format. The dimensions of an Instax Mini image are 8.6 x 5.4 cm. The dimensions of the captured image are 6.2 x 4.6 cm. A credit card is about the same size as an Instax Mini picture.
The individual pictures are stored in a special cassette. The film cassette is placed in the camera. There are usually 10 pictures in a film pack. After ten pictures cassette is taken on the camera. At about 70 cents is the cost of one picture.
After taking the picture is thrown out of the Lomo’Instant Automat South Beach. Within a few minutes, as if out of nowhere, the captured image appears. The pictures with the Instax Mini Film* captivate with high-contrast colors. Pens and stickers can be used to decorate the white frame around the pictures.
For fans of black and white pictures there is the Instax Mini Film*. Of the color film, there are various Special Editions (eBay / Amazon*). These editions are printed with different patterns or characters from famous franchises. For example, there are editions with colorful frames or Hello Kitty motifs.
A good field of application for the Instax Mini format are weddings and scrapbooking. But the camera and the format also cut a fine figure at parties or on trips and conjure up smiles on faces.
