The Fisheye No. 2 Rip Curl is a special edition of the Fisheye No. 2 by Lomography.
Surf brand Rip Curl, specializing in surf gear and apparel, has teamed up with Lomography to bring this camera to the world. Yellow, red, blue and green all these colors are on the colorful body of the Lomography Fisheye Two Rip Curl Special Edition. The blue back is adorned with the Rip Curl logo.
The fisheye lens with 10mm and an aperture of f8 makes everything from 0.1m to infinity sharp. It is required normal 35mm film and the flash is powered by one AA battery (eBay / Amazon*).
The Lomo Fisheye No. 2 Rip Curl Special Edition is of course identical to the Lomography Fisheye No. 2 except for the color scheme.
You can have even more fun with this snapshot camera at the beach and while surfing, with the Lomography Fisheye Submarine underwater housing.
Films for the Fisheye No. 2 Rip Curl Special Edition
What film is recommended for the Fisheye No. 2 Rip Curl Special Edition? The camera is designed to use 35mm 35mm film. There is still a demand for 35mm format, so there are still some companies that manufacture for this format.
Two great films for the 35mm camera are the Kodak Ultramax 400* and the Kodak T-Max 400*. With both you can take beautiful colour or black and white pictures. Both films can be used very flexibly and deliver good results even with a little less light.
The colour film is a negative film and is processed in the C-41 development process. Most external photo labs are experienced in developing this film. Many drugstores offer the possibility of having colour film developed. B/W film must be developed in a black and white developer. This service is also offered by most professional photo labs.
